The Immokalee Indians pushed their score all the way to 44 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 68-44 walloping at the hands of Lely. Immokalee has struggled against Lely recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trannon Villarreal, who threw for 459 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt. Ladarius Lewis also helped out as he racked up 108 receiving yards.
Leading Lely to victory were Colin Raymond and Nino Joseph. Raymond threw for 378 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 passes, while Joseph rushed for 251 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. Lely also got help from Zarian Pierre who showed off his sure hands for 99 receiving yards.
Immokalee's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Lely, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Immokalee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lely also has no future games currently scheduled.
