Zach Cwalinski Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Valley View got the W thanks in part to Zach Cwalinski playing the best football he has all season. Cwalinski rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 107 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards.
The victory (which was Valley View's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Cwalinski will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Wyoming Valley West on Friday.

Valley View Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Nick Kucharski
Valley View picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nick Kucharski. Kucharski did his part (and then some), rushing for 80 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 40 receiving yards for the 'W'. He didn't just play on offense: he also made eight total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
For the year, Kucharski has averaged 23.2 receiving yards per game.
