Fox Creek has gone a perfect 4-0 against Swansea recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Fox Creek will be playing in front of their home fans against Swansea at 6:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Swansea will be up against a hot Fox Creek team: the squad just extended their winning streak to six. Fox Creek's pitcher stepped up to hand Keenan a 27-0 shutout on Friday. The Predators' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matchups.
Bradley Anderson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). What's more, he gave up only zero walks, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Devin Hillary was a standout: he went 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chance Weathersbee, who went 4-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and three RBI.
Fox Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Swansea entered their tilt with Silver Bluff on Friday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Bulldogs.
Like Fox Creek, Swansea also got a great game from a two-way player: Kendall Wright. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Wright has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one stolen base. That home run was his first of the season.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jacob Hair, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Dalton Porter, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Swansea's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Fox Creek, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Fox Creek has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Swansea struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.7 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Everything went Fox Creek's way against Swansea in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as Fox Creek made off with an 11-1 victory. Does Fox Creek have another victory up their sleeve, or will Swansea turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
