Willapa Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 24 points or more this season.
Willapa Valley found their leader in underclassman Lauren Matlock, who scored 15 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tylar Keeton, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Willapa Valley now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Three Rivers Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Willapa Valley the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Naselle at 7:15 p.m. on January 25th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Naselle is ranked 216th, while Willapa Valley is ranked 213th). Three Rivers Christian on the road again on Thursday and play against Washington School for the Deaf at 5:30 p.m. on January 25th. Washington School for the Deaf's defense has only allowed 25.6 points per game this season, so Three Rivers Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
