The Morgan Huskies scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They secured a 53-48 W over North Branford. The victory was some much needed relief for Morgan as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Morgan got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ava Johnson out in front who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Maeve Madura, who scored 11 points.
Morgan now has a winning record of 4-3. As for North Branford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
Morgan will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Regional and Morgan are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for North Branford, they will head out on the road to face off against East Hampton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. East Hampton will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
