Dexter entered their tilt with Santa Rosa on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Lions. The Demons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 games by six runs or more this season.

Alani Tarin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Tarin was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Dexter got a massive performance out of Jaya Dodgin, who went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Issabellah Aguilar, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two runs.

Dexter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .529. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in ten consecutive contests.

Dexter's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Santa Rosa, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-13.

Dexter wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 17-0 victory against Ruidoso on the 29th. As for Santa Rosa, they will face off against Mesilla Valley Christian School at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the SonBlazers have averaged an impressive 10.3 runs per game this season.
