The Woodson Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Woodson and 12 for the Panthers.
Last Monday, Woodson was the victim of a tough 55-30 loss at the hands of the Ramblers. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Woodson in their matchups with the Ramblers: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering came up short against the Bulldogs on Friday and fell 62-52.
Woodson has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering, they dropped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
Woodson came up short against the Panthers when the teams last played back in December of 2022, falling 77-69. Can Woodson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
