There's no place like home for Fairfield, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. They came out on top against the Stafford Trojans by a score of  46-34  on Friday.  Stafford's loss  came despite strong showings from  Dylan Brozek and  Cody Knoche.  Brozek rushed for 171 yards while picking up 9.0 yards per carry, while  Knoche rushed for 128 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Brozek showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 51 yards.
 The  victory  got Fairfield back to even at 4-4. As for Stafford,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Fairfield is taking a road trip to  challenge Victoria  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Victoria will roll in looking for their  ninth straight  win, something Fairfield surely won't give up without a fight. As for Stafford, they will host Pretty Prairie  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Stafford is facing Pretty Prairie at the right time seeing as Pretty Prairie is stuck on  an  eight-game losing streak.
