Grand Blanc put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's seventh consecutive shutout on Saturday. They didn't even let the Mott Marauders on the board, marking the Bobcats' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 games by seven runs or more this season.

Savannah Schultz made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI and one double.

In other batting news, Grand Blanc got a massive performance out of Alaina Trotter, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one double. Kate Mitchell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.

Grand Blanc was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in eight consecutive matchups.

Grand Blanc has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.2 runs on average over those games. As for Mott, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 21-5-1.

Grand Blanc wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-3 victory against Walled Lake Central on the 17th. As for Mott, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-4 loss against Escanaba on the 17th.
