Despite the loss, University Christian still got an impressive performance from Peyton Gerken, who scored eight points.
Levi Robinson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hickory Christian Academy, dropping a double-double on 34 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Robinson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamaryon Jones, who scored 16 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
University Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Hickory Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.
University Christian will head out on the road to square off against Davidson Day at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Davidson Day's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 13 matches. As for Hickory Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Asheville School (Independent) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hickory Christian Academy is coming into the matchup with four straight wins at home, so Asheville School (Independent) is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum.
