The Bartow Yellow Jackets will square off against the Tampa Bay Tech Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Bartow's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while Tampa Bay Tech has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Bartow's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Hardee as they made off with a 15-0 win. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won 12 contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Brooklyn Tyson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

In other batting news, Bartow let Niamah Johnson and Emma Huffman run wild. Johnson went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Huffman got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Huffman has posted since back in March. Shay Parker was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.
Bartow kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hardee only managed one hit.

Jaida T was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was India D, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Bartow has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Tampa Bay Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bartow hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .353.
