Stevenson is a perfect 10-0 against Zion-Benton since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Patriots will welcome the Zee-Bees at 4:45 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Saturday, Stevenson was able to grind out a solid victory over Deerfield, taking the game 5-1.
Andrew Langerman looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Matteo Nolasco was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Stevenson is undefeated when Nolasco posts three or more hits, but 10-15 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Troung, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Zion-Benton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Harvard on Friday as they made off with an 11-1 win. Considering the Zee-Bees' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
The team relied heavily on Jack Marabella, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Michael Gonzalez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Zion-Benton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Zion-Benton's victory bumped their record up to 7-18. As for Stevenson, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-15.
Stevenson took their victory against Zion-Benton in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Zee-Bees turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
