Despite the defeat, Barbe got top-tier performance from Jelandon Gray, who rushed for 153 yards on only 14 carries, and also threw for 196 yards and two TDs on only 18 passes. Gray's longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards. Landon Kirklin helped out on the ground, rushing for 87 yards.
