The Battle Ground Tigers lost against the Camas Papermakers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The New Year welcomed Battle Ground with a 76-14 whooping from Camas. While losing is never fun, Battle Ground can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while Camas is ranked 15th).
Battle Ground has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Camas, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-6.
Battle Ground will take on Hudson's Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hudson's Bay is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Camas, they will take on Garfield at 5:00 p.m. on January 15th.
