The West Nassau Warriors and the Ribault Trojans squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the West Nassau Warriors had to settle for second. They were dealt a 90-31 defeat at the hands of the Trojans. West Nassau's defeat continues an unfortunate trend for the squad, making it six in a row.
Caleb Williams was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten steals for Ribault. Williams hasn't dropped below two steals for 19 straight games. Another player making a difference was Jaheim Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
West Nassau's loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Ribault, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.
West Nassau does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ribault, they will face off against Raines at TBD on Thursday. Hopefully Ribault focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday.
