The Trinity Classical Academy Knights''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 47-7 loss at the hands of Capistrano Valley Christian. Trinity Classical Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-7.
JP Synnott had a dynamite game for Capistrano Valley Christian, rushing for 184 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also catching a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Nate Richie, who threw for 244 yards and three touchdowns.
Trinity Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Classical Academy will take on Western Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Christian is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Capistrano Valley Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Arrowhead Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arrowhead Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
