Houlka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 20-10 to the Water Valley Blue Devils. One positive for the Wildcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Houlka's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Water Valley, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Houlka Wildcats face off against West Lowndes Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Water Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Calhoun City at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
