The Albert Gallatin Colonials's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Uniontown at home and fell 73-39. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Albert Gallatin has scored all season.
Leading Uniontown to victory were Calvin Winfrey and Jamire Braxton. Winfrey scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five steals, while Braxton scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Braxton has scored at least 25% of Uniontown's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tori Grooms, who scored ten points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Albert Gallatin now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Uniontown, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Albert Gallatin will head out on the road to face off against Laurel Highlands at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Laurel Highlands is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Uniontown, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Belle Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
