The Classical Academy Caimans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their tenth straight loss. They took a 52-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Guajome Park Academy. Classical Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Guajome Park Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Classical Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Issac Davis, who scored 16 points. The contest was Davis' 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasper Kim, who scored 11 points.
Classical Academy bumped their record down to 1-10 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Guajome Park Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
Classical Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Army-Navy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Guajome Park Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Coastal Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
