The biggest upset of the week belonged to Liverpool, who took down 33rd ranked Fayetteville-Manlius, 28-14.
Jordan Treen and Naronn Harvey provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Auburn. The connection went for 60 yards, the longest such play in Section 3 Class AA 1 this season.
Josh Reed was the best wideout in the league this week as Rome Free Academy fell to Baker. Reed racked up three receptions for 109 yards. John Allen helped Rome Free Academy's passing attack out by catching one ball for 17 yards.
Treen put up the best numbers through the air as Proctor defeated the Maroons. He finished with a total of 11 completions for 213 yards and two touchdowns. Treen's favorite target this week was Harvey, who caught two passes for 90 yards.
Tyler Rouse was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 366 yards on two carries as the Bees lost to the Bees. Ricky Sparks also contributed to the rushing game with 142 yards on the ground.
The Raiders' Treen and Harvey have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Section 3 Class AA 1 in both passing and receiving yards. Treen has thrown for 871 yards this season, while Harvey, a 6-foot-5 receiver, has 16 catches for 343 yards. Baker's Rouse leads the league in rushing yards with 1218.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Warriors take on Proctor. As it stands, Liverpool is in first, while Jerry Fiorini's team is in fourth.
Dave Mancuso's team was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to first in the league. Earlier in the week, the Warriors triumphed over the Hornets 28-14.
