For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Concordia and Marysville meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 2-1. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Concordia had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Jaylin Roush paced Concordia's offense, picking up 14 kills. Roush got some help from Rylie Jessup and her 31 assists.

Concordia's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Marysville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Concordia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Beloit on the 13th. As for Marysville, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Clay Center on the 9th.
