Pershing County was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Coral Academy of Science - Reno on Tuesday. The Pershing County Mustangs were the clear victor by a 47-25 margin over the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

Pershing County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Riley Harvey out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaliyah Allen, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alexa Lupercio, who posted nine points. Those nine points gave Lupercio a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Teleina Smith, who put up nine points and seven rebounds.

Pershing County's record is now 9-4. As for Coral Academy of Science - Reno, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Pershing County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-17 win against Incline on the 10th. Coral Academy of Science - Reno has also already played their next matchup, a 45-12 loss against North Tahoe on the 10th.
