Harrison Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aujaylen Barron out in front who scored 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaun Murray, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.
Harrison Central now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Gulfport, they bumped their record down to 3-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Harrison Central will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Biloxi at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Biloxi is ranked 59th, while Harrison Central is ranked 70th). Gulfport won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against West Harrison at 6:30 p.m. on December 9th.
