The Meadowdale Mavericks lost against the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Meadowdale fell 59-47 to Edmonds-Woodway. Meadowdale has not had much luck with Edmonds-Woodway recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Edmonds-Woodway's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Alseth, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Julian Gray, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Meadowdale has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Meadowdale will head out on the road to face off against Snohomish at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Cascade at 7:15 p.m. Cascade is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
