The Woodward Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Western Hills Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
A well-balanced attack led Woodward over the Trailblazers in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Woodward blew the Trailblazers out of the water with a 77-43 final score. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Woodward has managed all season.
Meanwhile, Western Hills came up short against the Warriors on Tuesday and fell 74-64. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (56), Western Hills still had to take the loss.
The victory makes it two in a row for Woodward and bumps their season record up to 10-6. As for Western Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.
Woodward won a match that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, slipping by the Mustangs 68-67. Does Woodward have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
