Morgan Thimm made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 4-for-5 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season.
