Riverside's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophiya Bustillos, who scored 27 points along with eight assists and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bustillos has scored at least a third of Riverside's points. Another player making a difference was Hazel Veloz, who scored 19 points along with eight steals.
Riverside's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 30-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Loretto, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.
