Annika Smith was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 steals for West Central. Smith has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Kailee Bishop was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 3 steals.
Oregon-Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for West Central, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oregon-Davis will square off against Bethany Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Bethany Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Thursday. As for West Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Argos at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
