Baseball Recap: Leake Academy Wins Going Away Against Park Place Christian Academy

Leake Academy won the last time they faced Park Place Christian Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rebels put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 14-6 win. Considering the Rebels have won four matches by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Will Garner made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. Garner was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

In other batting news, Tanner Walsworth was a standout: he scored three runs while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Majure Chandler was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
