On Friday Hackett take on Magazine at 7:00 PM. Magazine will be strutting in after a victory while Hackett will be stumbling in from a defeat.
Hackett might have drawn first blood against Panama last Friday, but it was Panama who got the last laugh. Hackett came up short against Panama, falling 24-32. The matchup was a 18-18 toss-up at halftime, but Hackett were outplayed the rest of the way.
Meanwhile, their game three weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Magazine, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They blew past Cutter-Morning Star 50-26. Magazine were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Hackett's loss took them down to 1-2 while Magazine's win pulled them up to 1-2. Magazine caused 3 turnovers against Cutter-Morning Star, so Hackett will need to take especially good care of the ball.
