Kyler Telford and Jake Smith provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Ingalls. The longest such play in Santa Fe Trail (8 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 65 yards.
Rolla and the Bulldogs played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Rolla eventually emerging with a 40-36 victory. Telford threw for 219 yards and three touchdowns, ran for 111 yards and caught one passes for 37 yards in the win.
Smith was the best wideout in the league this week as the Pirates bested Ingalls. Smith racked up two receptions for 99 yards. Jaron Rusch helped Rolla's passing attack out by catching two balls for 65 yards.
Lane Miller was the most productive running back in Santa Fe Trail (8 Man) this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 141 yards as Moscow topped Ted Brown's team. Teammate Alexis Manriquez added to the ground attack by rushing for 95 yards.
Obie Telford made the biggest impact on defense this week as Jason Pierson's team defeated the Bulldogs. The 5-foot-6 sophomore recorded two fumbles.
The Wildcats' Miller and Brock Brazeal have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Miller has thrown for 583 yards this season, while Brazeal, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 17 catches for 271 yards. The Pirates' Telford leads the league in rushing yards with 1213.
