The Seneca Red Hawks won the last time they faced the Waggener Wildcats, and things went their way on Friday too. Seneca walked away with a 44-33 victory over Waggener. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Seneca has managed all season.
Seneca found their leader in underclassman Janelle Julue, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Julue scored 15 or more points.
The win got Seneca back to even at 2-2. As for Waggener, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Sacred Heart the next time they take the court. Waggener will head out to face Sacred Heart at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Seneca will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
