Central barely beat Baker the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Gators on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won ten matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Brock Schmidt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on 11 hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Shelton Enfinger, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Jordan Shelton also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Central hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive games.

Central pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Baker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Central will head out to square off against L.E.A.D. Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Baker, they will venture away from home to take on Navarre at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
