The Cuero Gobblers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Fox Tech Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cuero has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 27.
On Saturday, Cuero came up short against Young Men's Leadership Academy and fell 55-46.
Meanwhile, Fox Tech earned a 58-49 win over Gonzales on Saturday. The victory was just what Fox Tech needed coming off of a 86-62 loss in their prior contest.
Fox Tech got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Timothy Morgan out in front who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. Morgan is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Adan Fragozo was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Cuero has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Fox Tech, their win bumped their record up to 9-17.
