The Foothill Cougars were the 58-56 winner over the Fortuna Huskies when they last played one another back in February of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. Foothill took a 47-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fortuna.
Despite the loss, Foothill still got an impressive performance from Jose Cruz, who scored 8 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Zanhiser, who scored 9 points.
Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Fortuna, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Foothill will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against University Prep at 4:00 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully University Prep focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Thursday. As for Fortuna, they will head out on the road to face off against Placer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Placer is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
