The Proctor Rails suffered their biggest  loss since December 28, 2023 on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Pillager, falling  79-47. Proctor has struggled against Pillager recently, as their  matchup on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
 Pillager's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Christian Hooge, who  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and 12  rebounds. Hooge hasn't dropped below eight  rebounds for three straight games. Another player making a difference was  Gabe Parrish, who  scored 14 points along with two  steals.
 Proctor has  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost 11 of their last 12 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Pillager,  the  win  got them back to even at 8-8.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Proctor will take on Hibbing at 7:15  p.m.  on Monday. One thing working in Hibbing's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last six contests. As for Pillager, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hinckley-Finlayson at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hinckley-Finlayson is coming into the  contest on a three-game losing streak.
