The Fieldcrest Knights entered their tilt with the Flanagan-Cornell Falcons with 13 consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with 14. Fieldcrest simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Flanagan-Cornell 67-27 at home. Fieldcrest has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13  matches by 20  points or more this season.
 Flanagan-Cornell's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Kesler Collins, who  scored eight points along with 14  rebounds and three  blocks, and  Mason Rich who  scored five points along with two  steals.
 Flanagan-Cornell  struggled to work together and  finished the game with only three  assists. That's the fewest  assists they've managed all season.
 Fieldcrest's win was  their eighth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 24-1. Those good results were due in large part to their  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Flanagan-Cornell, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 15-12.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fieldcrest will  face off against Roanoke-Benson at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Roanoke-Benson will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 616th, while Fieldcrest is ranked 35th). Flanagan-Cornell will be staying on the road  on Friday to face off against LeRoy at 7:00  p.m.  on February 9th. Hopefully Flanagan-Cornell focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
