Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Nanih Waiya to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nyshea Hoskin, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Hoskin has scored at least a third of Nanih Waiya's points. Another player making a difference was Kylianna Spivey, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Nanih Waiya's victory bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Velma Jackson, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.
Nanih Waiya will be playing in front of their home fans against Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Nanih Waiya is coming into the match with nine straight victories at home, so Salem is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Velma Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
