St. Thomas More Academy will be up against a hot Thales Academy Apex team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Thales Academy Apex claimed a resounding 60-25 victory over Thales Academy Rolesville. With the Titans ahead 33-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Thales Academy Apex found their leader in freshman Rosemary Grant, who posted 17 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Grant has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kate Sproul, who put up 11 points and five steals.
Meanwhile, St. Thomas More Academy came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Patriots to the tune of 61-19.
St. Thomas More Academy found their leader in freshman Winnie Dehring, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 steals. The dominant performance gave Dehring a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adella Dehring, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine steals.
St. Thomas More Academy pushed their record up to 8-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.0 points per game. As for Thales Academy Apex, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Thales Academy Apex has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 33.1 rebounds per game. However, it's not like St. Thomas More Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 22 boards.
