North Clayton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being VICTORIA Johnson, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Dudley, who scored six points along with four steals.
Starr's Mill has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 17-7 record this season. As for North Clayton, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Starr's Mill will take on Whitewater at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Whitewater: they have been struggling with ten straight losses at home, while Starr's Mill has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road. As for North Clayton, they will challenge Fayette County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Fayette County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 784 points over their last 12 matches.
