Fayetteville-Perry's 19-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Whiteoak on Friday.
Meanwhile, Fairfield put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 58-39 win over Peebles.
It was another big night for Larkin Friend, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Logan McIntosh, who scored six points along with six assists.
Fayetteville-Perry bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Fairfield, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
