With a playoff game on the line, the Aledo Bearcats rose to the challenge on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Rangers 51-8 on the road. Considering Aledo has won 12 contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Hawk Patrick-Daniels had a dynamite game for Aledo, rushing for 184 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per carry. Those three rushing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for him. Hauss Hejny was another key contributor, throwing for 202 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes.
The win for Aledo keeps them at an undefeated 16-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.77 points. As for Smithson Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 14-2.
Aledo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Smithson Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
