Hart is 0-10 against the Wolverines since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Hart Longhorns will head out on the road to challenge the Springlake-Earth Wolverines at 8:00 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two weeks ago, Hart was able to grind out a solid victory over the Kangaroos, taking the game 51-41.
Meanwhile, Springlake-Earth earned a 60-47 win over the Cowboys on Tuesday.
Jj Jaramillo was his usual excellent self, scoring 33 points along with five rebounds and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 20 or more points the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Tovar, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
The victory got Hart back to even at 8-8. As for Springlake-Earth, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.
Hart lost to the Wolverines on the road by a decisive 83-67 margin when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Jaramillo, who scored 40 points. Now that Hart knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
