Breiton Whitmire Goes Supernova in Cedar Catholic Victory
Breiton Whitmire's big game helped extend Cedar Catholic's winning streak to seven on Friday. Whitmire turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 160 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
Cedar Catholic's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. They and Norfolk Catholic are set to duel on Friday.

Sylas Nelson Delivers Best Performance of Season
Sadly, Sylas Nelson posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Oakland-Craig over Cedar Catholic on Friday. Nelson rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Oakland-Craig's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3. Nelson and Oakland-Craig will welcome West Point-Beemer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
