The Victoria West Warriors stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Ray a 3-0 shutout. The result kept Victoria West happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 13th.
Victoria West's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those five contests. As for Ray, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7-3.
Victoria West will head out on the road to challenge Gregory-Portland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gregory-Portland will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Victoria West surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ray, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Miller at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Miller's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
