After flying high against the Cross Keys Indians on Tuesday, the Clarkston Angoras came back down to earth. Clarkston had to suffer through a rough 64-23 loss at the hands of Westminster. Clarkston has not had much luck with Westminster recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Clarkston still got an impressive performance from Arriana Blackwell, who scored 8 points. Blackwell scored a full 34.8% of Clarkston's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Clarkston's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Westminster, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Clarkston will be playing in front of their home fans against Hapeville Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Hapeville Charter is ranked 375th, while Clarkston is ranked 385th). As for Westminster, they will head out on the road to face off against Holy Innocents Episcopal at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holy Innocents Episcopal has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
