Make it six blowout wins for the Shadow Ridge Mustangs this season. They blew past Clark 48-28. Given Shadow Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Chargers are ranked 40th), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shadow Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaslyn Jefferson, who scored 20 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jefferson has scored at least a third of Shadow Ridge's points. Jada Livingston was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Shadow Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Clark, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.
Shadow Ridge will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Coronado is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Clark, they will square off against the Blue Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
