On Friday, Heritage came up short against Grovetown and fell 59-49. Heritage has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Heritage lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Emmett Broda, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of KJ Cox, who scored ten points.
Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Grovetown, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Heritage will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Chapel Hill at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. As for Grovetown, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against South Effingham at 3:30 p.m.
