Talbot  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of her four plate appearances, while  Briggs  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3. Talbot is  crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: she's   stolen at least one every time she's  taken the field this season.
 New Bloomfield now  has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. Elizabeth, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 New Bloomfield will host Linn  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Linn is coming into the  game with four straight  wins on the road,  so New Bloomfield will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum. As for St. Elizabeth, they will venture away from home to  face off against Vienna  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
