It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Rockbridge County ultimately got the result it was hoping for last Friday. They were fully in charge, breezing past McCluer 47-0. The score was all tied up at the break, but Rockbridge County was the better team in the second half.
Lee had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They took their game against Turner Ashby last week 48-34.
Their wins bumped Lee to 1-0 and Rockbridge County to 1-0. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
